Job Overview
RSU seeks to hire a qualified lecturer in the department of Shari’a and Law, based at the Bosaso main campus. You will be expected to primarily deliver several law courses at the respective department. You will be working with our academic staff and you will participate in other academic activities and research production at the university. Therefore, you will be expected to demonstrate prior teamwork and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and delivering lectures, workshops and seminars.
- Developing course materials
- Supervising and assisting undergraduate students at the department of Shari’a and Law.
- Setting and grading assignments, tests and exams for the undergraduate students at the department of Shari’a and Law.
- Collaborating with the dean and the academic staff in improving teaching methods and the learning materials.
- Carrying out research and producing scholarly published articles.
Qualifications and Experience:
Red Sea University is looking for a qualified lecturer who can meet the following qualifications:
- Masters degree or PhD in Law or Shari’a and Law.
- At least two years of higher education teaching experience in law.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in Arabic Language.
- Experience in research and publication (added advantage).
