About

RSU Consultancy and Training (CAT) Center was established in accordance with the decision of the Board of Deans in Red Sea University, and has been recognized as one of the core bodies of the University.

The main objective of the Center is to coordinate provision of training and consultancy services to various government sectors, industries, business organizations, development agencies and social institutions by engaging faculty members of the university. We strongly believe that through this exercise, the center will not only play a significant role in capacity building efforts of the nation, but also generates additional revenue for the University to better the Somali Community.

 

RSU Consultancy and Training (CAT) Center unit was formed with the objective of conducting consultancy business and coordination of contracted inter-disciplinary consultancies within the University for improving knowledge in a comprehensive manner and enabling the Somali human resource, thus enhancing talent and ideas in line with the local and international labor market requirements.

The center primarily provides training and consultancy service to different clients by engaging a large pool of qualified and experienced resource persons from the Red Sea University as consultants. We draw on the expertise of over seventy in house consultants who cover vari­ous disciplines.

RESECOT also partners with other Consultancy firms locally and internationally by jointly bid­ding for the assignments as a consortium. The consultancy unit has undertaken a number of Consultancy projects and mounted several Short Course/Trainings in various thematic areas.
