Job Overview
RSU seeks to hire four (4) qualified lecturers in the Nursing and Midwifery departments (two lecturers for each department), based at the Bosaso main campus. You will be expected to primarily deliver several courses at the respective department. You will be working with our academic staff and you will participate in other academic activities and research production at the university. Therefore, you will be expected to demonstrate prior teamwork and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and delivering lectures, workshops and seminars.
- Developing course materials
- Supervising and assisting undergraduate students at the nursing and/or midwifery department(s).
- Setting and grading assignments, tests and exams for the undergraduate students at the nursing and/or midwifery department(s)
- Collaborating with the dean and the academic staff in improving teaching methods and the learning materials.
- Carrying out research and producing scholarly published articles.
Qualifications and Experience:
Red Sea University is looking for qualified lecturers who can meet the following qualifications:
- Masters degree or PhD in the respective field
- At least two years of higher education teaching experience in the respective field
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in English Language.
- Experience in research and publication (added advantage).
