Red Sea University Technology Day is an annual event that can be deemed a hallmark for both students and faculty. It provides an excellent opportunity for the students to share their outstanding innovations and projects created by the university’s bright minds. Every year, the event provides the community with an opportunity to observe and stay updated with the most recent developments and creation the students are developing in the university dynamic environment.

Highlighted Projects

Saina Programming Language

Saina programming language was one of the outstanding projects that marked the Technology Day. It is a general-purpose programming language that may compete with C and C++. The language was created by a group of students, whose greatness was led by Mohamad Abdifitax. The language is considered to revolutionize software creation through its automation capabilities with an easy-to-use syntax.

Rentor App

A group of students dedicated to addressing the society’s real problems developed Renter App, a website designed for the easy use of tenants and owner property managers. The team was led by Sundus Mahmud Geedi, a third-year computer science student. The website will assist property owners and sites to provide and access properties on rent easily.

Exam Management System

Asia Abdulahi Arab, currently in her third year, spearheaded the development of an exam system crucial for managing university examinations. Leading the team, she successfully created a comprehensive system encompassing examination planning, scheduling, record-keeping, mark collection, and addressing student complaints.

Library Management System

Nasteexo Mohamed Abdi, a third-year computer science student, produced a library management system for the university. The system allows for a planned collection and record access and searching in the university’s vast library. The system will assist the students and lecturers in searching and finding books and reading materials.

Virtual Network Company

A third-year computer student, Aisha Said Yusuf, developed a virtual network company. The company is built to provide network services connected to two ISPs for redundancy. Aisha Said Yusuf, plans to be a network engineer, and we all need to support her until she realizes her dreams.

University Website

Hasan is a first-year computer science student who developed a university website. He crafted the website with passion, love and dedication, and it was perfect. I saw and read all the contents present and, as a panel, we gave him full remark. He was one of the most amazing presenters and we wish him all the best and become a successful software developer.
