The project, which has been running since 2024 and is funded under the European Union’s ERASMUS+-CBHE programme, aims to provide inclusive and innovative digital education that reflects 21st-century skills to teachers in the Dadaab and Kakuma refugee camps in Kenya, internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Bosaso and Mogadishu in Somalia, and their host communities. Red Sea University is a key partner in the project, which is being implemented through a consortium of six (6) universities from Somalia, Kenya, Türkiye, and Poland.
The meeting focused on evaluating the digital education programmes delivered to teachers in Kenya and Somalia. Red Sea University was represented by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Said Mahmoud, and the Director of the Red Sea University Galkayo Campus, Dr. Nuh Mohamed Abdullahi.
