The Essential Newborn Care (ENC) Training was successfully concluded at Red Sea University, with the participation of 30 students from the Nursing and Midwifery departments. The training aimed to strengthen students’ knowledge and practical skills in providing quality care for newborns.
The program was facilitated by the Global Health Alliance (GHA) Somalia and combined both theoretical lessons and hands-on practical sessions. The training encouraged students to apply their skills in promoting maternal and newborn health and improving healthcare outcomes within the community.
Participants will continue with additional training modules related to maternal healthcare, further enhancing their professional competencies and preparedness for future clinical practice.
