Job Overview
RSU seeks to hire a qualified lecturer in the Faculty of Computing and Emerging Technologies, based at the Bosaso main campus. The successful candidate will primarily deliver courses at the faculty, work closely with academic staff, and participate in academic activities and research production. Applicants are expected to demonstrate strong teamwork and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing and delivering lectures, workshops, and seminars
Developing course materials
Supervising and assisting undergraduate students at the Faculty of Computing and Emerging Technologies
Setting and grading assignments, tests, and examinations
Collaborating with the dean and academic staff to improve teaching methods and learning materials
Conducting research and producing scholarly published articles
Qualifications and Experience
Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or Information Technology
At least two years of higher education teaching experience in Computer Science and/or Information Technology
Excellent communication skills
Proficiency in the English language
Experience in research and publication is an added advantage
